Say What?

I know you are going to faint when you hear what I am about to say. I am really excited about my classes! GASP! Yeah, well so far... I have only gone to two of them so far, the other ones come on monday. But so far, I have been to my Contemporary Theatre class, which is going to be hard, but I am looking forward to learning all this stuff. Add to that, I also got into a Musical Theatre workshop sort of class that focuses on quality of auditions and singing in musical theatre. So, I am totally stoked.

Other than school, A Chorus Line goes happily along, with out my doing all that much. But this coming week, I will finally be learning the opening number. Can't wait to dance with everyone. This is an insanely talented cast. Such nice people too...

Well, I have a thousand things to do today, which includes cleaning my room, which at this moment looks like a total shithole. But, at least, thanks to Mad, I have some new tunes to rock out to! Take a gander at the "currently rockin out to..." section to see what I am playing air guitar to... Peace...

Just Had To...

Biatch, noone takes my job and lives to tell about it...
Back To The Grind

This time tomorrow I will be back in school. Damn, its been long enough! Almost eight weeks since I got out of school... Sorta crazy. But yeah, I am actually somewhat eager to get back to it. Other than my scholastic yearnings, I have been occupied with my preparing for a film audition I have tonight. Wish me luck. With that being said, I have a ton to do today. I have to go get my headshot taken care of... which means me, Dave and digital camera... Pretty sad... But it will have to do. I am off! Peace...

Quickie

I am back from LA... but man I wish I wasn't. It was a blast with Mel, just hangin around and such. Plus USC is a rad school. Anyways... I have a shit load to do today, so I just wanted to point out that I have finally linked up my band's single online on the left. Check it out. The band sorta doesn't really exist anymore, but I am really proud of our work, especially mine on guitar. To Mel: Thank you for a killer vacation. I needed that badly... To everyone else... BAAAA. Peace...

I Love L.A.

Greetings from sunny Los Angeles, California! I decided to take a little trip down here to see good old Melanie and take a break from AMTSJ while I could. So here I sit on Mel's futon, typing up the first post I have done in over a week. And a hectic week it has been ladies and gentlemen. No big synopsis here... just the repetitive grind of shows at AMT. Mix in a little drinking with Charlie, Frenchie Davis' understudy, registering for classes, and my trip to So. Cal., and you've got one week in the life of me.

It has been really great to be down here. I've missed Mel tons, more than I realized. We had lunch yesterday at this totally posh resturant called the Urth Cafe on the chic Melrose Ave in West Hollywood. This place was totally the the place to be if you were a trendy LA youngster, or an actor. Well shoot, theres the whole population of LA, so I can see why it was crowded. The food was absolutely killer, and pairing that with great conversation, and awesome tiramisu for dessert made for a perfect afternoon. But we went beyond perfect when we went into this bookstore nextdoor. It was a spiritual bookstore, with books on everything from Wicca, to Shamanism, to Yoga, and Mediation and everything else along those lines. They also had some awesome gifts. I was trying desperately not to buy anything, but I saw this kokopelli necklace I just had to have. Needless to say I am currently wearing it.

We came back to Mel's place and just chilled, watched the DVD from my "Dolly" show, and had yet another one of our trademark 3 hour talks about anything and everything. Just brings a smile to my face thinking about it. Anyways, I have to dash and get showered so I can head over and join Mel for a directing class. I hope all is well in your worlds everybody... Peace...

P.s. Even after six years, I still have the MAD SKILLS at Super Mario Bros. 2.

Mel's roomie Amy and her friend were quite impressed...

Drawing Breath

Yes, I am still alive. But barely. It has been a very hectic week for me with the start of work at AMTSJ. I have been spending 12 hour days there for rehearsal, then being there every night for shows. I haven't really had a day off since we started. But hey, its all good. I have made friends with the cast, espcially a guy named Harrison, Reggie, and of course the star, Frenchie Davis. Great times. I'll admit, I am really stressed with that show, and with A Chorus Line at WVLO, in which I am now the understudy for the role of Al.

Oi. So much to do... I am off to bed now... Peace...

Another Day

I don't really know why. But I am inclined to write something. For no other reason other than the theaputic tikka-tikka of my keyboard. I slept well, have a busy day ahead of me, things are generally good. But for some strange reason, I have this heavy feeling in my heart. I know a small part of it is Mel's departure, but that can't be it cuz I know I am gonna see her soon anyways! I just don't get it. All of you know, I am not the kind of guy to feel "blah" unless I have a damn good reason. Ohh well. Nothing I can do about it but move on with my day. I just need a friendly voice. Time to face my day head on. Peace...

Exit... Stage Right

Well, today is the day that good ol' Melanie goes back to USC. I am going to miss her tons. I never expected to be so close to her considering our history. Time has a wonderful way of changing things for the better. Ohh well...

Spent a great night with her last night, chilling, drinking a cold one, watching a bad movie. Then we headed off to the Kingshead to check out the private party going on there. Then it was of to Eskers to chill and relax a little. Great times. This after my first day of work at AMTSJ. We watched the run through, which was incredible. I'm not going to gush like Derrick did in his blog, (link below on the left), but it was amazing. I am very eager to work with such talented people. Derrick is excited cuz he has a freaking buffet of male dancers to flirt with... lol....

Today is going to be fairly busy with cleaning, doing paperwork for the show, reg-ing for classes and hopefully going out with a friend later tonight. But for now, Goodbye Mel. See you in L.A. as soon as I can. Peace...

Pleasant Beginnings

Ahh... 2004. Wow. Strange to think what I was doing each New Year's Eve before this one... Time has sure flied. This year was great though. Spent it over at Jon's house with Melanie, Ceara and that whole crew. Great times. Watching Family Guy on DVD, getting happily buzzed, playing King's Cup with some funny ass rules... it IS(lol) always fun with that crew... Stayed up till 5am singing showtunes and playing pool.

Can't get much better than that. I had such a great time that even though I am running on about 4 hours of sleep on a inflatable mattress (with Melanie hogging the whole thing...), I feel great! Well, how can't I....

The last part of the ski trip was awesome. Just relaxing with a good book and sleeping a lot. Felt wonderful. Damn, I really needed that. After riding home with Emily and Mark, (which was quite awesome, haven't talked to them in quite some time, awesome friends.) After getting home and unpacking a little, Mel payed me a visit to cap off the night. Gotta love those late night bull sessions with her. I am really gonna miss that...

As for today, more laundry than I care to do, trying to digest the Carrows breakfast Mel and I had, and having a little movie shindig tonight. So, until next time everyone, take care. Have a fantastic new year, and if you are an old friend who I haven't talked to in awhile, drop me a line. Peace...
