Freedom Again

Ahh, the first day of summer! Here I sit, in my guest room, (Since my computer is a unholy piece of shit as of late), kicking back with the breeze rushing through the window, and not a care in the world. Well, until tonight. Then I have to deal with SDG callbacks, which I really would rather not have to deal with.

I got called back for a major part in each show they are doing, which is cool, but I just can't see myself committing to shows all the way into this time next year. Anyways, I got called for Frank Butler in Annie Get Your Gun, Lt. Cable in South Pacific, and Sid Sororkin for The Pajama Game. AGYG seems tempting, but we will just have to see what happens at callbacks. Jaymee (Mel's little cousin), also came out and did great. So did Kim Kay, and Nicole (an friend of mine who also came out).

We finished the LIGHTS KARMA ACTION recording last week, and now we are just waiting for the post production stuff to be finished so we can get our copies of the CD. I hope this show makes it big, cuz if it does the creators say we (the demo cast) get first dibs on the parts for the stage version. So cool. So far, it has come out awesome from what I have heard. A ton of work that will pay off! Check out their website: LIGHTS KARMA ACTION!

As for 7&7, we just keep going! Its lots of hard work, but man is it worth it to hear the scenes work, the songs hit just right, and the dancing to come together.

Well, that'll do 'er for now folks. Time to enjoy my waking moments of Summer Vacation 2004! Ohh, btw... I am going to see ASSASSINS at City Lights this weekend. If you wanna come, EMail me! Peace...

One Year Later

Well look at that. It has been one year since my first posting. So much has changed. My major, my dominant passion in life, my friends, and so many little things that I can't even begin to list them all. It has definately been a year of learning. I have learned so much about my talents, and how to improve them. I have learned so much about myself. Well, I guess anyone can say that after a year, but for some reason, it seems like more of a marked change to me. Ohh well.

Well now, lets look back and think a bit. I have done 149 posts including this one, lord knows how many millions of words, about a hundred pictures, only about 25 emails from my readers. Speaking of readers; I have had readers from about 30 countries including Germany, Taiwan, Singapore, The Cocos Islands, Canada, Japan and many others. Not to mention the Srilankan readers who have stumbled over The Daily Farmer just looking for porn. Dirty bastards...

As for the next year... who knows. I will keep trying to be funny, probably fail miserably. Keep posting a few funny pics and links as often as I can. And who knows, maybe a new look for the site. God, remember that really basic "flame" template I used to use? Ahh those were the days. Ghetto.

Well lets see, where to go from here on this anniversary post? I can't think of a better way than to toss you a new fun little link or two to check out... First off, in honor of the complete pointlessness that is "Badgers...", here is...

Only In "Kenya"

And, to add a little more weirdness to your day...

The Adventures Of Weebl And sometimes his friend Bob

I personally suggest the original episode, "Pie", and the recent installment called "Diet". Thank you to AlbinoBlackSheep.com for turning me on to both of those.

I think that about does it for this anniversary edition of T.D.F. Good luck to everyone on their finals. Congrats to Mel for her impending graduation from USC and Caitlin for her graduation from Ohlone. So, till next time, I am off to bust out some champagne...

Or maybe not, cuz I'm poor. Lack of money.. Yeah... Peace...

Ticka-Ticka

Well, I haven't been so good about updating lately, but yeah, life has been sorta hectic. Seven Brides rehearsals are just about every night. This is what I get for landing a lead. It is a load of fun, but a ton of work. My voice was a little weak last night; a combination of no allergy meds during the day, which made me stuffy and got all this crap in my throat, and the fact that the temperature dropped about 25 degress between my warming up and singing. I have barely uttered a word since 9:30pm last night when I said goodbye to the staff and now, fifteen hours later.

Well, as for tonight, it is Cinco De Mayo, so after rehearsal, I will be off to some bar for a Corona.

I'll have to recruit the 21-and-uppers of the cast to come with me. Drinkin on a Wednesday night. Fun times. Well, its a short update, but that will have to do it for now. My computer is gonna freeze any second. Peace...
