Call To Arms
Forsooth, I call to arms all the royal Knights Of Karma to aide the fair Maid Niamh in her battle against the evil forces of The Tome Depository Of The Land Of De Anza. All those who enlist shall be renumerated at the rate of one pint of ale per service. Art thou brave enough to assist the Alliance Of The Farmer? Send word by falcon, rider, or magical communication devices. Peace...

Fall "Chill"
Now that Fall is here, the temp is dropping and the long-sleeves are coming out of the dresser. But that chill in the air isn't the only "chill" around in my life.
I speak of my impending break from the stage. I have been going full haul for sometime now, and I have planned on taking a break for awhile. Now I have it firmly set in place. After Big River closes, I am going to take a short hiatus for a month or two to get some rest, and just enjoy a few other aspects of my life. Not that I don't love the stage, but I need to relax!
Anyways, life is good around here. Big River is a little stressful since I am now understudying Tom and Huck. But hey, thats what I get for committing to shows! I love it though. A little hard work won't hurt. Melanie is coming home today so we will get to hang out and she can finally meet Niamh. Good times.
Well that about does it for now. Come see JCS if you havent yet. We close this coming weekend. Look back a few posts for all the info you need. Peace...

Smiling
Just a quick one so satisfy my blogging-pang.
This weekend was truly rad. Four performances of JCS that went very well for the most part, got to see my lady (and had our three month anniversary, wow time flies), have had a quiet house with the parents outta town, and got some well needed rest. Add to that I got to clean a bit and generally catch up on life, and I am a happy man.
Well I am off to begin my day and such. Ohh, news: Mel is coming home to visit! Verrry nice. Can't wait. The Farmer and the Cap'n haven't kicked it in quite some time. Peace...

A Familiar Place
Again from SJSU, its little old me.
Not much to say today, yet I still feel compelled to write SOMETHING. I began rehearasals for Big River a few nights ago, and I must say it feels good to be back in the old WVLO oven again. Not that I don't like SCP, but WVLO is where I started. So its good to be back. The Young Fool part I am playing isn't all that big, but man am I going to have fun with it.
Other than that, the stress that was plaguing me last week is finally starting to back off. Nicole gets a big "ah-thank-ah-you" for that one. What would I do without that girl... Probably nothing severe, but life would definately suck a bit more!
Keeping it short like I promised, I am off to grab a Red Bull and a snack and get my ass to class. Hopefully I will stay awake now that I am actually sleeping a little better and am not ripping my hair out from the roots like before. Peace...

Caffinated Irishman
It sure has been awhile since my last post. And with good reason. Being an actor is hard work! I have either been at rehearsals or tech sessions for JCS, school, or sleeping. Hard work, but man is it paying off. I will admit, I can't wait till I get a break... in December.
As for now, I am ready to open the show tomorrow night. The cast is getting excited and things are really starting to click. There are of course a few bugs here and there. To be expected... This is live theatre!
School is moving along. Not much book work to do, so everything is really hands-on. Or in my case, feet-on. Dance classes are harder that I ever thought they would be. And I had already assumed they would be hard. But hey, I'm tapping better everyday, and my ballet technique has really progressed in my jazz class.
Lets see... what else is going on. Well, or course there is Nicole. What can I say other than; Life is good. She treats me wonderfully and puts up with my shit. What more could I ask for?! Well, lets see. She goes with me to Stanford football, (and defends me from the evil forces of squeaky-voiced demons that seem to pop-up without a moments notice, offers a back rub when I need it, and is a joy to be around. Good times.
Other than all that, life has been ok for the most part. An adequate amount of stress from time to time around my house of which I would rather not discuss, but I would be lying if I said I slept perfectly seven nights a week. But life goes on unlike this post which will now come to an end. But not without the prerequisite plug for JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR!!

Click that puppy and you got yourself all the info you need on getting tix. Take care, and drop me an email sometime... Don't make me name names of those who haven't talked to me in awhile... Peace...
P.S. There should be a law against those who sit in the computer terminals here in the library who...
(a)Don't shower.
(b)Mumble to themselves.
(c)Look at porn.
(d)Are either mouth breathers or loud nose breathers.
(e)Type on the keyboard as if hitting the keys harder will make it work faster.
With that said... Peace...
