The Ride Continues
Wow, two years. It's kinda crazy to think that I actually kept this thing going this long. Every other attempt at a journal of my life only lasted about two days, tops. So, I am pretty happy with how this has gone.
I mean, its not like I still do daily posts, but I think I keep it interesting enough around here (when I am not being so lazy and actually post once every 5 days or so...) And on that note, let us look back at the Year Two of The Daily Farmer...
~Did Seven Brides... and reunited with an old friend, who is now the love of my life.
~Had a great summer break (all of one day), before I got into rehearsals for JC Superstar.
~Speaking of shows; Eight shows in one year. Deaaaamn.
~Got an award for Seven Brides... Sweet.
~School... Crap.
~Did Smokey Joes, the most fun show and the biggest I have ever done. Damn I miss that cast.
~Got cast in my first professional show, Annie Get Your Gun at Cabrillo.
And the rest is recent history. Not much to say but, its been fun, and I will keep trying to be witty (but probably fail miserably). As for now...
Had some big auditions recently. AMTSJ is doing Wizard Of Oz, and I must say that they make it hard as hell to get into their shows. The dance combo was lethal and I didn't even get a chance to sing... Grr. Ohh well, if they don't want a powerful lyric baritone/tenor in their cast, so be it.
Riding a wave of frustration from AMT, I went out for Aida at Bus Barn and got called back. More on that soon. I also have SDG and BBB auditions coming up, so we will see what comes out of all of this eventually. For now, I am off to bed. Not too jazzy for a 2 year edition, but with recent events in my life and the news (click here, more about this later), I am sorta spent. I'll probably do some pics on here tomorrow to complete the update, but for now it is time for some well deserved rest. Peace...
